Last year around this time (a little later in June, I suppose), I took my family on a trip to Mammoth Mountain to do some camping and exploring. We stopped at Keough Hot Ditch just south of Mammoth. The hot springs are owned by a company that has a spa resort or something on the premises, but the steaming hot water flows outside in the ditches. The place was fun and relaxing during the day time and my girls loved it, but there was evidence that the places might get a little wild when the sun goes down! Next time your driving through and you think, "Boy, I would love to get out of the car and relax a little bit, check out the Keough Hot ditch!
